Early Years - Sports Programs
L’il Starz (ages 4-7 years old)
Sure, chillin’ out is cool. But rockin’ out is a blast! That’s why you’re gonna love the Zumbatomic® fitness program for kids. It’s a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program’s moves (salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and more) and high-octane workouts designed to let kids ages 4-12 max out on fun and fitness all at the same time. Safe and effective, kids can’t wait to get into the Zumbatomic groove. Watch their energy and fitness levels soar as they get the groove.
Learn-to-Play Basketball (ages 4 & 5)
This program is designed as an introduction to the game of basketball while learning key fundamentals through the development of coordination and motor skills. With the focus on making friends and participation, practices will include both direct basketball skills and non-basketball activities that will enhance the skills needed on the court. Parents are encouraged to participate in practices with the kids. Program runs once a week on Saturday mornings.
Gym Tots (ages 9 months to 3 yrs)
Experience the magic of movement with your toddler through the use of play equipment designed to challenge your child’s imagination and gross motor abilities! Each week a trestle system is set up to create an indoor playground in the gym to encourage climbing, balancing, and sliding. Tunnels, aerobic steps, barrels and balls are incorporated into the weekly set up to encourage crawling, walking, running, stepping, bouncing, and rolling. Add an energetic, friendly instructor and this program is guaranteed to be one good time for you and your little ones!
Totnastics (ages 20 months- 3yrs)
An exciting NEW program designed for little ones who have an interest in rolling, tumbling, balancing, hanging and climbing. This program is a very basic introduction to gymnastics, driven by the interests and capabilities of the very young. Tots will be encouraged to try different activities, with the aid of a parent, to enhance their gross and fine motor skills.
Kindernastics (ages 3-5)
A Fun approach to movement and motor skill development, this program teaches the fundamentals of running, jumping, flipping, hanging and flexibility. Small class sizes allow for increased supervision, as well as more individualized attention on equipment. Classes are focused on challenging these excited little gymnasts to explore and experience movement in a fun and enriching atmosphere.
