Morning Preschool

“Learning through Play" accepts that children are constantly testing, exploring and discovering. Our morning preschool programs follow the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum as well as the NB Curriculum Framework. Both are living curriculums designed to meet the interests and needs of the children. Through play, the children will have opportunities in the following areas: language and literacy, math, science, and the arts. We focus on social skills as well as offering a strong physical component through gym time and swim lessons.
For working parents: We offer babysitting before and after preschool for your convenience. Note: All of the morning preschool programs follow the school district timetable and do not operate on school holidays, professional development days, and storm days.

Active Learning (3-4yrs)
Our Active Learning program provides a variety of programming options for your convenience:

One day: Friday
Two day: Tues&Thurs
Three day: Mon, Wed, Fri
Note: Children must be 3 prior to commencement in September.
Active Learning Hours: 8:30am - 11:30 (11:30 - 12:00 pick up)

Junior Kindergarten (age 4)

Our Junior Kindergarten program is offered to children in their year before kindergarten. This program runs four mornings each week and provides a wealth of experiences and opportunities.

Junior Kindergarten Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-11:30 (11:30 - 12:00 pick up)
